Part 3 - Heroes & Spells - Info & Tips

The Heroic Universe currently features 5 Heroes, each with 5 unlockable Spells that are unique to them.

When starting out, players take control of Ruul. Different Heroes are then unlocked by progressing through the Campaign.

The current roster of characters, along with their Spells, are listed below:

Ruul (1)
RUUL: The war mage. Driven by revenge and sorrow after the death of his son, Ruul commands a vast array of pyro Spells that devastate opponents.


Meteor
Meteor Strike - Common Spell

  • A smouldering ball of flames that wreaks havoc upon enemies.

Evolution 1 (Earned at Ruul Level 2): Leaves the ground scorched for a few more seconds burning enemies who cross it. Burning deals 100 damage per second for 5 seconds.

  • Scorches a lane to deal damage over time to enemies.

Evolution 1 (Earned at Ruul Level 4): Applies burning effect on affected enemies dealing extra continuous damage. Burning effect lasts 5 seconds and deals 5 % damage of hp to affected enemies.

Evolution 2 (Earned at Ruul Level 6): Duration is increased to 6 seconds.

Fire Blast - Rare Spell

  • Burn enemies close to your Portal.

Evolution 1 (Earned at Ruul Level 5): Increases the area of affect.

Evolution 2 (Earned at Ruul Level 8): Applies burning effect on affected enemies dealing extra continuous damage. Burning effect lasts 5 seconds and deals 5 % damage of hp to affected enemies.

Soul Burn - Epic Spell

  • Slowly decays the health of enemies down to near death. Ignores shields.

Evolution 1 (Earned at Ruul Level 7): Affects the whole lane.

Evolution 2 (Earned at Ruul Level 9): Instantly decays the health of enemies down to near death.

Valen: Paladin of the Gods. Valen wields the hammer of swift justice within the Arena as the defender of mankind.

  • Calls down a mallet to stun and deal damage.

Phalanx - Common Spell

  • Pushes away all Minions from your Portal and stuns pushes enemies.

Evolution 1 (Earned at Valen Level 3): Pushes away Minions even further.

Hammer Of The Gods
Hammer of the Gods - Rare Spell

  • A hammer flies through all enemy Minions in a lane dealing damage to them.

Evolution 1 (Earned at Valen Level 4): The hammer also stuns units it hits for 3 seconds.

Evolution 2 (Earned at Valen Level 6): After the hammer clears the lane, it returns, striking all enemies again for 50% of the original damage.

  • Protects all targeted units with a shield that blocks damage until it breaks.

Evolution 1 (Earned at Valen Level 5): Affects all allies in the lane.

Evolution 2 (Earned at Valen Level 8): Shielded units get +2 extra movement speed.

Divine Protection - Rare Spell

  • Reduces the damage done to your Portal and allies near it by 80%.

Evolution 1 (Earned at Valen Level 7): Enemies attacking the protected allies or Portal will take 150 damage per hit in return.

Evolution 2 (Earned at Valen Level 9): Protects all allies in the lane.

Terrin Rhii: The last Sylvar. His wisdom and command of the elements comes from centuries of prosperity with an Ancient race.

Evolution 2 (Earned at Terrin Rhii Level 6): Speeds up cooldown of your other spell by 33%.

  • Pulls all enemy units to target location and slows them down for a duration.

Evolution 1 (Earned at Terrin Rhii Level 5): Stuns enemies for the same duration instead of slowing them down.

Evolution 2 (Earned at Terrin Rhii Level 8): Kills a random enemy caught in the Vortex.

*Earthquake - Epic Spell

  • Three tremors deal damage to all enemies in a lane.

Evolution 1 (Earned at Terrin Rhii Level 7): The cracked ground also slows enemies for a certain duration.

Evolution 2 (Earned at Terrin Rhii Level 9): Has one extra tremor.

Cooldown - 50s
**Starting Cooldown - 25s

Tip: There’s a short delay in between each tremor. Use that to your advantage!


Noella (1)
Noella: The ice queen. Having been frozen in a glacier in an act of cowardly spite, Noella seeks to earn her Ascension with a combination of deadly frozen attacks and defensive Spells.


Chilling Wind
Chilling Wind - Common Spell

  • Creates a freezing wind that stuns enemies who come into contact with it.

Evolution 1 (Earned at Noëlla Level 2): Also deals 75 damage to affected enemies each second.

  • Icicles erupt from the ground damaging enemies and pushing them back.

Evolution 1 (Earned at Noëlla Level 4): Enemies hit by the shards are slowed for a duration.

Evolution 2 (Earned at Noëlla Level 6): The shards remain in the lane as an immobile obstacle.

  • Spawns immobile ice obstacles in all lanes. When destroyed, obstacles explode for area damage.

Evolution 1 (Earned at Noëlla Level 5): When obstacles explode, they also stun enemies for 1.5 seconds.

Evolution 2 (Earned at Noëlla Level 8): Spawns an additional obstacle for every 3 enemies on the field.

Alay’na: The jungle druidess. Alay’na strives for Ascension in close collaboration with Spells that channel the animal kingdom.

Statue - Common Spell

  • Creates an immobile stone statue capable of withstanding large amounts of damage.

Evolution 1 (Earned at Alay’na Level 2): Statue explodes and deals 500 splash damage when it’s destroyed.

Evolution 2 (Earned at Alay’na Level 9): Spawns spirit copy in two lanes.
